This is from a game called, Lone Survivor, a game i consider one of the best horror games i've played. Its got an amazing atmosphere and creates the feeling of terror without using cheap and sterotypical cliques such as jumpscares, and obscene horror / gore. It tells the player nothing about the story or main character before thrusting them into the world as you explore the apartment building and learn more and more about the main character. what i love most about this game is that its never revealled what happened to the world, and by the end of the game you don't care, the game takes place here but the focus is on the character and its just the stage, where we learn about the main character and what lead him to where he is.

I choose this part from the game, like mentioned in the video, because its the first scary experience that the player encounters within the game, this being their introduction to the type of horror within this game, and its really highlights the horror in the game, the switch from the normally reality to the surreal flesh room, with the music slowly getting more and more twisted, and the glitching of the room, making an experience that feels the player with antipation and creates a really sense of danger, what i also love about this is that at the end the character doesn't even acknowledged what had just happened, and how weird it was, leading the player to either believe that the room was common within the world, or that it was all a dream, both really adding to the world building.

if you need proof heres a review i made in 2017 :)

please ignore any spelling mistakes or weirdly worded sentences, i may of aged but my dyslexia didnt
